Just don't play it for more than 2 hours at a time or your 360 will fuck up with the red ring :3

what red ring?

The red ring is the three lights you get when your x-box screws over and never lets you play again (unless you restart a thousand times). It's caused by the overheating of the x-box.
The longer you play the hotter it get and it may be OK for a few weeks (or in some cases months) from playing to long but it would happen sooner or later. A lot of people regret it. My uncle does :3

Youtube 'Red Ring of Death'and you will see what I'm talking about.

ok (not enough letters here)

I can be used as a perfect example of red ring

Played 7 hours or more a day for about a month, go to turn 360 on and find red ring.

iv'e got 1 and the full game of castle crashers get it it's fun

Just keep your 360 in an open space with plenty of ventilation and it should be fine.

The real reason for the 3 red lights of failure is a result of long term heat of the CPU and the GPU against the motherboard that caused it to "bow" or "warp". This warping issue causes the lead-free solders that were used to mount the motherboard to have lots of tension on them. After it too having long exposure to elevated temperatures, the solders become brittle and develop hair-line cracks that are almost irreparable. It isn't until the hair-line cracks form that you get the red ring of death. So is the system having heat issues where the parts are failing due to heat? No. The system is actually failing because of irregular behavior in the motherboard that was mounted.

Happy gaming.

it's in a cuboard but we make sure it does not overheat once we notice how hot it is we turn it off for safety now that people have told me that i'm gonna be a bit more careful :)
